Future Ready Triad

Expanding Opportunity. Strengthening Communities. Preparing the Next Generation.

Future Ready Triad is the framework guiding our regional expansion—aligning youth development, education, and workforce readiness across a connected network of communities facing shared challenges and shared opportunity.

This campaign is a multi-year fundraising initiative designed to fuel sustainable growth, measurable impact, and long-term regional strength.

What We Mean by the Greater Triad

When we refer to the Greater Triad, we are describing a connected regional ecosystem—not just three cities.

The region includes the urban centers of High Point, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem, as well as surrounding cities and towns that are deeply interconnected through school systems, labor markets, transportation corridors, and shared economic opportunity. This includes Asheboro, Burlington, Thomasville, Kernersville, Gibsonville, Graham, and Reidsville.

Regionally, the Greater Triad spans Guilford County, Forsyth County, Alamance County, and Randolph County—communities whose futures rise and fall together. Our expansion strategy is intentionally regional, designed to meet young people where they live, learn, and grow.

Why the Triad? Why Now?

Across the Greater Triad, more than 125,000 young people are growing up in
communities with uneven access to high-quality out-of-school programming, academic
support, and workforce exposure.

Nearly 40,000 of these youth attend Title I schools or live in under-resourced
communities, where the need is greatest.

We know what works: Consistent access to safe spaces, caring mentors, academic
support, and real-world pathways changes life trajectories. Future Ready Triad is our
commitment to deliver that impact—at a regional scale.

25-30

Club and school-based sites
across the region

7,500–9,000+

Youth served annually

Integrated Approach

Our holistid work includes academics, athletics, leadership, workforce readiness, and more

Strong Partnerships

We partner with schools, municipalities, employers, and community organizations

Regional Model

Our operating model prioritizes quality, accountability, and sustainability

This is growth with intention—and growth that lasts.

Youth Development as Economic Mobility

Future Ready Triad is not only about serving more youth. It is an
economic mobility strategy for the entire region.

Sustained engagement in Boys & Girls Clubs is linked to:
•   Improved third-grade reading proficiency
•   Reduced chronic absenteeism
•   Lower juvenile justice involvement
•   Higher rates of graduation and postsecondary success

Over time, these outcomes translate into higher lifetime earnings,
public cost savings, and a stronger regional workforce.

Job Creation & Workforce Impact

We envision a powerful regional employer and workforce engine.

By 2030, the expansion will:
•   Support 600–750 direct jobs across the Greater Triad
•   Generate 1,000+ total jobs through direct, indirect, and induced employment
•   Raise wage standards for youth development professionals
•   Create clear youth-to-career pathways, including alumni returning as staff, coaches, and mentors

This is nonprofit growth that strengthens families, stabilizes neighborhoods, and fuels long-term regional prosperity.
